• Reliance Jio Infocomm (RJio), a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), has emerged as the world's largest telecom service provider in terms of users, reaching a customer base of 340 million.

• Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said, Reliance Jio is the world's fastest growing digital services company "The company's customer base has reached 340 million.

• Mukesh Ambani, speaking at RIL's 42nd Annual General Meeting in Mumbai, said the company would commission its JioFiber network in the next 12 months.

• He said that, Reliance Jio Internet or Things (IoT) platform will be commercially available from January 1, 2020.

 
• Internet or Things, it will provide revenue opportunities of Rs 20,000 crores on an annual basis.
