• The appointment of Anurag will play an important role in Yes Bank, who will be responsible for the finance work of Yes Bank,
• They will be involved in driving financial performance and bringing more rigor to the financial and investment decisions of the bank and its subsidiaries.

Yes Bank announced the appointment of Anurag Adalkha as the Chief Financial Officer of the bank and named him as Group CFO.

Anurag's appointment is in compliance with the Reserve Bank of India's circular dated May 18, 2017, for the bank CFO.

Anurag is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI), and has held the position of CFO with two of India's top foreign banks for the last 19 years.

Anurag's appointment as Yes Bank's CFO, the bank's finance function will be strengthened given his vast experience in the banking sector. Anurag will report directly to the Managing Director and CEO, Yes Bank.

Anurag has over 30 years of rich experience in managing regional responsibilities and overseas assignments.

In his last role, he was named as CFO for Jan Small Finance Bank and was responsible for finance, investor relations, procurement and treasury back office.

In his previous roles, he was CFO with Standard Chartered Bank, India (2016– 2017), Interim CEO, India (6 months in 2015–16) as well as Regional CFO for India and South Asia (2007–2015).

In his previous organizations, he was also a member of Country EXCO for India banking operations and a member of the board and audit committee for various India subsidiaries covering NBFC, private equity, asset management (trustee company) and securities trading.

Anurag's previous roles have been in strategizing fund raising and organizational change.

Raj Ahuja, Senior Group President, Yes Bank, will now be re-designated as Group Chief Strategy Officer, with the objective of further strengthening the strategy function, who will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning and projects function of the bank and Will continue to report further in MD and CEO.
